The device can share the connection through Wi-Fi in a radius of 10 meters (30 feet) and gels with ease along PC, Apple Mac, Linux, Android or other peripheral device.
If you are a someone who carries multiple phones, laptops, other cool gadgets and want to use internet on all devices without hefty phone bills or painful SIM swapping, then this is for you.

Last Words:
MiFi is a must try if you use many gadgets that accesses internet everyday. Else a 3G or GPRS on your smart phone should do well.

hi nikhil
do you know if i can plug an existing vodafone sim card into this device? please confirm also whether it will work only with vodafone sim cards or any others as well who provide 3g?
It works only for Vodafone sim cards, however the device can even be cracked. Google to know the cracking methods.
Hi Nikhil,
I have been hearing about MIFI and 3G WIFI hub now a days and I am planning to buy one. Can you suggest me which one be the good option for me? Actualy I want to access internet on my laptop and Apple’s ipod touch so I need wifi for that.
And I had Tata photon+ previously but I was not happy with speed and could not access internet on ipod touch coz I was unable to make wifi connection so suggest me the best option.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say
Thanks,
Amit
hey amit,
You can go for a 3G Mi-Fi device if u use more than one device to access internet.
Check for the vodafone 3G network availability at your place.
Also budget is a concern in case of 3G. However, you will get very good speeds with Vodafone 3G Mi-Fi device.
Can it be used while charging also ?
Yeah definitely
Does it give me the normal 3.1 MBPS boradband+ connectivity also in addtion to 3G which can be shared through WIFI?
It depends on the number of devices you are using at that time Manu, like if you have phone, laptop connected at the same time, the speeds would be definitely shared, else you should get the desired speed.
Hi Nikhil,
I have a mifi device. But the data charges in Vodafone are too high. Could you please provide the link of cracking the device and using another sim in it? Thanks…
Currently I have a Linksys/Cisco WiFi router (connected to a MTNL broadband ADSL modem) that not only allows me to connect several devices to the internet but also creates a ‘home network’ that enables a wireless printer to be accessed by several computers.
My question is: will the MiFi device also enable my wireless printer to be accessed / connected to several computers? is a home network possible?
Thanks for your advice.
Niom
I am not sure about the printer. you Will have to test that out Niom.
If u own an android mobile with hotspot then Mifi is not required as hotspot will allow upto 5users and u can use the sim card without removing , also use the mobile for phone calls no need to buy another gadget- mifi.
