Razer Gamer Booster – Speed Up Games in Few Clicks

Windows generally runs a range of different services and processes in the background every time you start your PC.

These processes consume most of your system resources which create problems for a smooth gameplay.

This is where the Razer Game Booster steps in.

The Game Booster temporarily shuts down unnecessary system processes when you launch a game, and restores them after it has finished.

It aims to get the most out of your system, changing the settings so it can speed up games on Windows PC.

The Save Game ManagerΒ  feature allows you to automatically back up saved game files onto your favorite cloud storage services(like dropbox) whenever your progress is saved. You can sync as many files as you want.

The Game Launcher feature catalogs and presents your entire library of games for easy access. It scans your PC to find new and existing games thus keeping your collection up-to-date.

The Screencapture gallery feature takes screenshots in HD with a customizable short cut key. You can even record videos of any length without watermarks.

Does it even Work?

After using Razer Game Booster on my computer, it suffered no ill effects from temporarily disabling all of the listed processes, and the program quickly started them again when I switched back to normal mode.

Razer Game Booster managed to increase performance by what it claimed => 25-40%. Each time I ran it, the percentage changed slightly going up or down.

The software itself uses very little processing power, and its great being able to turn lots of processes on and off with just a click.

  1. Game booster is no more then a pc shut down on your systems, but be careful what you shut down. Like your security which can lead to all kinds of bad things getting on your pc. It is only good for people with slow pcs {old ones}. If you have a good pc it will run fast without it, so save your money for a game instead of paying for this software. I have tested it beta version and all. and it seems strange no mater what PC I have used it on dell HP others the performance is always around 40 to 42 percent. {tested on 20 pcs} and all with same security on them. Well each to there own it may work great for you and do nothing for someone else. That is why we have choices. thanks and happy gaming.

  2. Great post, however I think people with more than 4GB of RAM should not need to use this unless they’re really suffering from bad gaming performance. It’s great for beginners who don’t know what applications they can shut down, however.

    • Hi, you will have to buy the hardware Praneethz. You simply cant do it all alone. If its a netbook, you will have to see if you can increase the RAM. This can be done only at the authorized service center.
